Thousands of children have seen their first ballet with Muncie Ballet Studio.  Annually more than 1500 school children attend matinee productions as an introduction to classical dance, music and theatre.  MBS productions have become a tradition for hundreds of families.

Imagine your child dancing and performing with Muncie Ballet - Performing for an audience builds confidence and poise.  Performing as a group builds character and teamwork.  MBS creates a positive contribution to the lives of our students and our community.  All of our dancers perform and gain tremendous benefit (yes, even the 2 year old dancers).

The Children's Nutcracker is performed each Winter Holiday and each spring is welcomed with a new ballet based on a classic tale.  Classical music accompanies each performance.  Colorful costumes, props and sets create a dramatic background for each performance.  Peter Pan is scheduled for April 2010!

Muncie Ballet Studio was created in June 1991 as a 501c3, with a mission to promote classical dance and music.  In addition to ballet, character, modern and tap dance styles have been used in story lines and offered as classes.

The weekly classes offered by MBS offer parents and children the opportunity to participate in professionally produced productions two times each year.  More importantly, the classes at Muncie Ballet help develop respect, poise, manners, dedication and character all in a fun, lively environment.
